Like any good love story, ours started with a little friendly matchmaking. Our mutual friends wouldn't stop talking about us to each other: "You have to meet them," "You two would be perfect together," the kind of buildup that makes you both curious and a little skeptical. But little did we know, they were really onto something.

We finally met in 2022 at a friend's wedding party. We ended up talking, joking around, and playing games together, and there was an instant comfort, which thanks to our friends probably felt like we had met before. Still, after that night, life got busy, and took us in different directions. We didn't talk again for a few months, but we now know that was only the start.

Then came what we now call our divine appointment. One evening, we both showed up, completely by surprise, at a young adults event. The church held a service once a week and somehow, God-ordained we believe, picked the same day to visit. Neither of us had any idea the other would be there. The church was hosting an after party, and as we walked out of the sanctuary, we just happened to cross paths again. Our conversation in that moment wasn't awkward or forced; it was natural, easy, and familiar.

The next day, we connected on social media which lead to our very first date. We found joy in the little things, in every shared laugh, conversation, story, and moment which reminded us how easy it was to be together.

Now, here we are, counting down the days to January 17, 2026, ready to say a"I do" and begin the greatest adventure yet. Our story has been written with a mix of divine timing, matchmaking, and love that feels both ordinary and miraculous at the same time.
